Project Hospice Volunteer to Career Programme By Nikki Fojan

With the aim of supporting volunteers to gain experience within a hospice environment, The Rank Foundation generously awarded a grant to allow Helpforce to deliver a hospice Volunteer to Career programme.

Between April 2024 and October 2025, Helpforce worked to set up and implement volunteering projects within seven hospice sites. Volunteers were provided with experience of working alongside existing staff, supported to undertake relevant training, and supported to explore career opportunities within the hospice.

The evaluation report, linked below, sets out the combined evaluation results from the seven hospice projects delivered.
