Evidenced outcome: Reduction in Did Not Attend (DNA) rates

The DNA rate for Ophthalmology and Medical Ophthalmology for Colne Union PCN patients decreased from 13.2% in the year prior to the volunteer calls starting, to 11.2% in the period of volunteer calls. This represents a 15% relative reduction and 2% absolute reduction. The difference is statistically significant. February 2023 to January 2024: 701 DNAs out of 5,321 appointments. February 2024 to January 2025: 611 DNAs out of 5,471 appointments.
