18 of 50 patients said that they weren't sure what they would have done about getting to / from the hospital without the volunteer drivers service. 18 of 50 patients said that they would have had to pay for a taxi themselves without the drivers service. A higher proportion of outpatients selected this response, whose cumulative taxi cost may be high if they have frequent appointments. Two of 18 outpatients said that they would have had to miss their appointment without the drivers service.
