Volunteer Innovator’s Programme
In partnership with NHS England, we are working with NHS hospital trusts to help fund and transform volunteering in and around hospital settings.
Thank you to the 91 NHS hospital trusts who submitted a fantastic 115 expressions of interest to our Volunteering Innovators Programme. It is exciting to see so many Trusts, across all settings, engaged with volunteering and keen to expand. It was clear from the applications there is a lot of effective and innovative volunteering practice going on across the country.
For this programme we can only select ten NHS trusts, and those progressing to the next stage will be asked to provide a more detailed proposal. However, we are keen that all of the Trusts who applied can become part of Helpforce, and benefit from being in our network of organisations working together to improve practice and scale up volunteering in the NHS. We have written to all trusts inviting them to be part of our Learning Network. We are keen to work with each organisation so they can help shape and take advantage of future Helpforce programmes and solutions.
